It is always a joy to watch our sing-a-long choir sing, and they fill our hearts with joy as they smile and sing “There Is Sunshine in My Soul Today.”
“There Is Sunshine in My Soul Today” was written by Miss Eliza Edmunds (1851 – 1920). She had a spinal ailment and had to wear a heavy cast for six months. When the cast was removed, she was inspired to write the words to this song while walking in a sunny park. The tune is written by John Robson Sweney (1837-1899).
