The Rose

Occasionally, there are songs released that immediately strike a chord within the heart.

Tasked by her manager to write an emotionally packed song, Amanda McBroom is quoted as saying that she wrote “The Rose” in a few short moments of time! Her power-packed lyrics, combined with the underlying tune from Felix Mendelssohn, gave rise to a very compelling combination. Bette Midler’s recording of the song climbed the music charts all over the world, and the song has been covered by many artists in many languages and genres.

But, the inspiration didn’t stop there! The Inspire4 team whole-heartedly enjoys gospel music and giving praise to our wonderful Savior! The rose theme and the melodic tune pair perfectly to reflect our team’s original lyrics of heartfelt praise, written as a hymn to Jesus – THE Rose.
