The junior sing-along-choir sings “Reach Out and Touch the Lord”. It is an inspirational chorus that was written by Bill Harmon and copyrighted in 1958. Other authors have written verses to accompany the chorus and placed them under their own copyrights.
“You’ll find He’s not too busy”, as the chorus assures us, is a heartwarming thought. In this busy world, we often get caught up in the cares of life and forget we can put our trust in the true and living God who loves and cares for His own as we put Him first and serve Him day by day. It is a blessing to be able to raise our young people with the assurance that there is a God who cares and can supply our needs as has been proved over and over throughout the years.
