Praise Ye The Lord, HALLELUJAH – sing-along song – Junior Choir

The writer of this beloved hymn is unknown to us today but the song has become a well-known song of praise and is many times sang by children. It is thought that the author has derived the work from the passage in Psalms 150 (KJV).

150:1 Praise ye the [LORD]. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
150:2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
150:3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
150:5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the [LORD]. Praise ye the [LORD].

“Praise Ye The Lord, Hallelujah” is a fun song for our sing-a-long junior choir to sing, and allows them to sing praises to God. The boys and girls take turns each singing the different parts of the song, then joining together in the final “Praise Ye The Lord!”
