It takes the tune and the basic thought from the oldies hit song “Let It Be Me”, first made popular by the Everly Brothers and later by Jerry Butler. However, this is not the exact same version of “Let It Be Me”, as the words have been rewritten to take this wonderful old love song to whole new level as a gospel song. The new words beautifully reflect how one feels when in a genuine relationship with The Heavenly Father and Jesus our wonderful Savior.
