Reminder Prayers: An Illustrated Poem

Our daily prayers – mixtures of thanksgiving and joy, questionings and desires – tend to vary in intensity and in scope. The short, yet powerful prayers in this poem speak of yearnings deep within, heart-felt yearnings (desires) to be pleasing to God in whatever ways possible.

The poem begins with a foundational thought, a reminder to pray that we may never forget the simple truths God has set before our eyes in HIS creative works.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
