Building Blocks for the Spirit

Parable Of The Sower SERIES – Part One

This video is episode 1 of an illustrated story depicting the various lessons and their meanings in Jesus’ parable of the sower. It uses video clips of live actors dressed in costumes similar to the clothes worn by the ancient Israelites, as described in the Bible (rather than the costumes Hollywood generally uses to portrays things – which are usually based upon Babylonian or Canaanite antiquities and findings). The goal is NOT to point towards any particular denomination, but to point to the actual MEANINGS that Jesus himself clarified in the contexts of the story. This video is family-friendly and also very accurate in teaching only what the Bible plainly teaches.

Expect more than the surface “views” normally offered, as the purpose is to get the viewer to think BEYOND the “little box” that is often the limit that is offered. This first episode is only an introduction, but the series will keep building on itself!

Some lessons in this video are more visual, rather than just written or spoken. We realize this is not a video where you can “catch” every detail by watching it only once, so it is our hope and prayer that some will find it interesting enough to watch it several times, and thus gain more clarity of the points that are being made.

The parable of the sower is still very relevant and important to us today. We hope you will enjoy this video series and learn more about the spiritual meanings of wayside ground, thorny ground, stony ground, and good ground.
