Oh Holy Night – Inspirational Singers
“O Holy Night” was originally penned as a poem in 1843 by French poet Placide Cappeau. Music was later written and added by Adolphe Adam. This widely familiar song has been translated from French into many languages. Although our English version is taken directly from Cappeau’s version, upon review it is easy to see the subject remains the same but there are more differences than similarities.
The song has been recorded by numerous well-known popular-music, classical-music, and religious-music singers throughout the years.
The Inspiration Singers take their version from a compilation of many popular renditions to create their very own a cappella version of this classic.
