Always Bouncing Forward
In the Outback, one animal always seems to be a hop, skip and a jump ahead of the rest. Kangaroos were created with lots of qualities that help them to not only survive, but flourish in this land full of challenges.
These amazing creatures can jump up to 30 feet in one leap. How’s that for not wasting time? They bounce along on their powerful legs and feet, using their tails for balance, as they spend their lives traveling through their vast habitat, foraging for food with their family.
It may come as no surprise that female kangaroos are excellent mothers. The mama forms a strong bond with her babies, and maybe it’s because she carries them close in her pouch. In fact, mothers and daughters will remain together for life.
We’ve got lots to share about these extraordinary marsupials, so let’s take a bouncy walkabout and discover what makes them so unique!
